Chessgrove Park Day Nursery was founded in 2006 by Managing Director, Glenis Keenan after successfully operating sister Nursery School House Private Day Nursery for over 15 years.
Glenis had already achieved many years experience working in Social and Healthcare. A qualified Nursery Nurse (NNEB), Social Worker (CSS) and a Mum of two children, Glenis has utilised her wealth of experience to develop and manage Chessgrove Park to its present level of ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ an accolade aimed for by every childcare and education setting in the UK.
Our location gives parents who commute easy access to the M5 & M42 and Worcester and Birmingham City Centre.
Our beautiful barn conversions house a friendly, family orientated day nursery for children aged from 3 months to rising 5 years. Our aim is to provide a relaxed and stimulating atmosphere in which your child will receive a high standard of care and education to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow.
The aim of each Nursery within the Woodland House Group is to provide a happy, relaxed, safe and stimulating atmosphere in which your child will receive a high standard of care, support and learning to enable them to fulfil their potential. The environment created within all of our Nurseries promotes physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing, and provides stability for your children’s experiences.
Chessgrove Park Day Nursery staff are all fully qualified and experienced. All the necessary requirements have been met in accordance with current legislation, statutes and guidelines which include: Every Child Matters, The Early Years Foundation Stage and all Welfare Requirements.
Together with our sister nurseries, School House Private Day Nursery in Dodford near Bromsgrove, Woodland House Nursery in Beoley, Redditch, and Tudor Hall Private Day Nursery in Redditch, we aim to represent an excellence in the care, education and development of the young people of our future.
Chessgrove Park comprises of two purposely converted barn buildings, the ‘School Barn’ and the newsest addition to the Nursery Group – ‘The Baby Barn’.
